About the Symposium
The Reform Symposium Online Conference is an online global event that connects educators from around the world.
It is an exceptional opportunity to share and learn from those at the forefront of student-centered learning.
RSCON takes place October 11th - 13th in conjunction with Connected Educator Month (CEM) and hosted at The Future of Education.
The entire conference will be held online using the Blackboard Collaborate webinar platform. Attend from anywhere that has Internet access.
I will be presenting on "Mobile Learning Scenarios at a School in Cologne" where I have been teaching and conducting an iPad-Project since 2011.
- Date: Sunday, October 13
- Time: 8 pm UTC
The presentation in my Session is based on this Prezi: Mobile learning scenarios, Germany @ rscon4
I am conducting a mobile learning project using Apple iPads at a German Highschool with 1000 students from the age of 9 to 18 years (grade 5-12).
We began to use iPads in 2011 and it is a 1:n project. We also use open learning platforms as Wikis and open Weblogs to collaborate and to create OER (Open educational resources) with our students.
We use the student produced content of our Wikis to publish it as ebooks and share it over the internet.
Cologne based educator ("iPad-teacher"), pianist & composer. André Spang studied classical &jazz-piano at Colleges of Saarbrücken and Cologne, Germany and filmscoring and arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.
André is teaching @ a public high school in Cologne, @ imb of the University of Augsburg and @ University of applied sciences, Cologne.
